Our commitment

The Fireplace Company wants everyone to be able to use this website, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

The site is built with semantic HTML landmarks and headings so screen readers can navigate it; images carry descriptive alternative text; interactive elements are keyboard-accessible with visible focus; text resizes without loss of content; and colour contrast is designed to meet AA ratios. The site works on modern browsers and on mobile and desktop devices.

Known limitations

Some older product brochures are provided as PDFs which may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are happy to provide any document in an alternative format on request. Some product imagery is supplied by manufacturers; where decorative or duplicated, it is marked as such for assistive technology.
